Nate's passion for filmmaking began in Milwaukee, WI, where he was born and raised. After going to school and working various aspects of film production and post production in Chicago, he made the trek down Route 66 to continue his work in beautiful southern California. Whether it’s through camera or lighting, he aims to creatively tell stories that need to be heard. 

Nate is an award-winning cinematographer and gaffer whose work has premiered at numerous international film festivals including Festival de Cannes.  He has lensed nationally broadcast commercials as well as local TV spots.  Having worked on award-winning television shows such as “The Voice,” “New Girl,” and “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”, Nate took what he learned and applies it to every project, striving for excellence no matter the budget.  He is constantly seeking to better his craft as a cinematographer by practicing new creative techniques, and staying attentive to the stories around him.
